Indecent exposure reported in Purbeck

A man's been arrested in connection with an incident at Knoll Beach

An arrest has been made as police in Purbeck investigate a reported indecent exposure incident.

It's alleged a man exposed himself and performed an indecent act on Knoll Beach at Studland at around 1.30pm on Friday (1st November).

A 45 year old man from Bournemouth has been questioned on suspicion of indecent exposure.

He was also further arrested in connection with seven other offences locally, dating back to March 2024.

He's been bailed while investigations continue.

PC Molly James, of the Dorset Police Volume Crime Team, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this incident and we have now made an arrest.

“We understand there are likely to have been a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and so I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to please come forward.

“Furthermore, I would urge anyone who has witnessed similar activity in this area in the past who has not yet spoken to police to please come forward.”
