A horse trailer's been stolen in Christchurch, with police releasing a picture of it.

The silver Ifor Williams HB511 trailer was taken from a property in the Bockhampton area at around 9.00pm on Tuesday 7th May.

Equine rugs, tack items, large pieces of dried oak wood and a flat pack chicken run were in the back of the trailer when it was stolen.

It's believed to have last been seen being towed in the direction of Bransgore in the New Forest.

PC Kate Schofield, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the horse trailer being towed around the relevant time in the Bockhampton and Bransgore areas to please contact us.

“I am reaching out to residents or motorists driving in those areas to please check their home CCTV cameras and dashcams to see if they have captured anything of relevance.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has witnessed the above items being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.”

If you recognise the trailer, or can help with information, you're asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting reference 55240070048.
