"He'll never be forgotten" tributes paid to 25-year-old Dorset man

The family of a young man who sadly died in a crash near Corfe Castle have paid tribute to him, saying he will ‘never be forgotten’.

Dorset Police received a report at 8.18pm Saturday 24 July 2021 of a collision involving a black Audi A5 Coupé, which had left the road and landed in a field along the B3069 between Kingston and the turn-off to Worth Matravers.

Very sadly the driver – named by his family as 25-year-old local man Sam Christopher – was pronounced dead at the scene. His family were informed and are continuing to be supported by officers.

Sam’s family has paid the following tribute: “He has left a large void in the lives of his family and friends, and will never be forgotten.”

Police Constable Dave Cotterill, of the traffic unit, said: “Our thoughts are with all Sam’s family and loved ones at this very difficult time for them.

“We are continuing to carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision. I would like to renew my appeal for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to please come forward if you have not already spoken to police.”
