Have your say on the future of Dorchester, Sherborne and Wareham TIC

The public consultation is being extended.

We're been given more time to have our say on the future of three Tourist Information Centres in Dorset.

Dorset Council is considering the fate of Dorchester, Sherborne and Wareham TIC.

The consultation was originally planned to run until the end of November.

But Dorset Council say the current national lockdown has led to further travel restrictions and the closure of TIC and library buildings and this has impacted the number of potential visitors at our TICs and limited access to offline copies of the questionnaire.

Sherborne TIC

Councillor Jill Haynes, Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Customer, Community and Regulatory Services said:

"We have rightly extended the consultation period so people can visit their TIC or library to complete the questionnaire when their local centre reopens.

"We are encouraging as many people as possible to complete the survey, so please take a few minutes to do so, either online or by visiting your local TIC or library after lockdown."

The survey should take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete online. You can also request it in another format, or by post, by contacting Tracy McGregor on 01305 224458.
