Goat Yoga comes to Weymouth
It's exactly as relaxing as it sounds.
For many of us, lockdown has been a chance to find our inner selves, try out different well-being exercises and find peace in the storm.
But the latest mindfulness trend to launch in Weymouth says has you find peace surrounded by a storm and introduces goats into the mix.
Not known for their restful nature, goats bring exactly what you'd expect to the yoga party, but behind it all is a philosophy of well-being.
It's been less than a month since The Ranch in Preston, Weymouth launched their bi-monthly sessions, but they're already booked up.
We sent George Sharpe, our reporter, down to have a go:
Ian Woodbridge is the owner of the Ranch. He says it's about promoting people's mental well-being:
"What we look to do is get people back linked into nature.
"It realeases endorphins, we're finding that people are getting a real good feel factor and fun factor out of coming down to see us. We've also found that people are taking that away, especially some of the techniques they've learnt, the breathing and the mindfulness, and carrying that on in their normal everyday life.
"It's great that they're down and they're out here in nature, and that's one of our selling points, people are coming down here getting in touch with nature and really after coming out of lockdown finding themselves again."
The Ranch also offers Equine Therapy with horses and hopes to develop its services, working with all ages - including going into care homes with their animals.
