A vehicle ended up on its roof after a crash on the Old Sherborne Road yesterday morning. (22 May)
Five people were taken to hospital for minor injuries after the accident near Middlemarsh.
Two vehicles were involved.
The road was closed for around 3 hours.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"We were called at 10.57am on Sunday 22 May to a report of a two vehicle collision on the Old Sherborne Road near to Middlemarsh.
"It was reported that one of the vehicles was on its roof.
"The road was closed while emergency services attended. Four people sustained minor injuries and one person sustained serious injuries. They all attended hospital for treatment.
"The vehicles were recovered and the road reopened at around 2.25pm."
