Residents in Poundbury are on the look out for speeding drivers.

A Community Speed Watch Scheme has been set up at Prince Charles' development, with the help of Dorset Police.

Volunteers will be monitoring several key roads.

Details of speeding drivers are then passed to the police, who'll issue a letter to the owner of the vehicle.

A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said:

"This is a new CSW location which will be operated by volunteers from the community with the support of Dorset Police.

"Officers from the Road Safe Team have risk assessed several locations around the roads in Poundbury for the team to be located.

"This initiative is supported by The Duchy Road Safety Partnership."
