Temporary timetable changes are coming to First Wessex bus services in Weymouth, Dorchester and Portland.

As a result of a national driver shortage across many industries and high levels of staff sickness and self-isolation.

Services affected include routes from Weymouth to Portland and Littlemoor - and the 10a service which runs from Weymouth to Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester.

The changes will last for two weeks and will run until Saturday 2nd October.

First Wessex are apologising to it's passengers:

"Unfortunately, as a result of a national driver shortage across many industries and high levels of staff sickness and self-isolation, we’re having to make temporary changes to some timetables from 19 September.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to your journey with us, but rest assured, our team are working hard to provide the best possible bus service during this period."
