Firefighters tackle blaze in 3 storey property in Weymouth

Firefighters were called to a property fire in Lennox Street in Weymouth yesterday afternoon.
There were initial reports of people still inside the three storey building, but everyone managed to get out safely.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Rescue Service said:
"The fire was located in a second floor lounge and was extinguished using two breathing apparatus wearers, two hose reel jets and a main line.
"An aerial ladder platform was requested to check the roof space for hot spots but none were found.
"Crews that attended were Weymouth, Portland and Westbourne."
DWFRS believe the cause was accidental.
