Fire service tackles agricultural fire in Gillingham
Somerset fire teams also assisted.
Fire crews attended an agricultural fire on Bay road in Gillingham this morning, arriving at the location at around 6.30am.
The fire initially started in a shed but spread to other buildings on the site, prompting the fire officer on the scene to call for back up.
Crews from Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Sturminster Newton, Warminster, Sherborne and Devizes. In addition to the Dorset fire crews, assistance was also given by the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service.
The incident has now been contained.
