Don't be alarmed if you see firefighters at Dorset County Hospital tonight.

Crews are taking part in a special training exercise in the new multi-storey car park.

We're told they'll be fire engines, smoke and lots of activity.

A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said:

"This exercise will allow us and our colleagues from Bridport Fire Station, Maiden Newton Fire Station and Fire Control to test our procedures and skills.

"We'll be using the entrance on Damers Road (Dorchester Childrens Centre car park) to access the site.

"Thank you to our colleagues at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for allowing us to use the building in this way, before it opens."
