Weymouth Rotary have announced the return of Fayre In The Square on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2022.

This regular family event in Weymouth’s summer calendar was successfully delivered online in 2020 and, sadly with Covid uncertainty, cancelled in 2021.

This year's event will take place in and around Hope Square at the beginning of the school half-term, building up to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations on the following bank holiday weekend a few days later.

With live music catering to a variety of tastes throughout, alongside food and drink stalls, Fayre In The Square aims to raise many thousands of pounds for local charities.

Leading the Rotary volunteers, who come together every year to ensure the success of the event, David Langridge said:

“We already have a number of great local musicians pencilled in and are looking to welcome back many stallholders who have taken part in previous years.

After the challenges of the last 20 months, it will be fantastic to bring back this Weymouth institution in its proper form!”
