August bank holiday weekend family fun day to take place in Littlemoor
Mayor of Weymouth also set to open the new growing gardens

A family fun day's planned in Littlemoor to bring the community together for the Bank Holiday weekend.
It's being held on Sunday 28th August from 1pm to 4pm at Top Club Field.
Live music and entertainment are on the bill, along with face painting, a bouncy castle, a tombola, a display of vintage vehicles, a magician, craft sessions and other activities and games.
There will also be a raffle in support of the youth club.
As part of the event, the Mayor of Weymouth will officially open the new growing gardens at 2.30pm.
Some trees have already been planted in the gardens with plans to also incorporate some raised flower beds, a bug hotel and a composting area for the community.
There will also be information displays and stands at the event, giving people the chance to find out more about Weymouth Town Council services and projects.

“I’m greatly looking forward to attending this fantastic family fun day in Littlemoor on Sunday 28th August and I hope to see the community come out and support this event – it’s sure to be a great day with plenty going on to keep everyone entertained.
“Something that I’m especially looking forward to is opening the growing gardens. This will be a brilliant community asset of great benefit to local people.”
