Environment Agency want your views on Portland waste incinerator
Powerfuel Portland have applied for a permit to burn none-hazardous waste
The Environment Agency would like to know what you think about plans for a proposed waste incinerator on Portland.
Powerfuel Portland have applied to them for an environmental permit to burn none-hazardous waste at an energy recovery facility at Portland Port.
The Environment Agency say they have a "duty to control certain activities which could harm the environment or human health."
The permit would set out the conditions Powerfuel need to meet.
