Elton John adds second South West date to farewell tour
He'll perform in Bristol twice next summer
Elton John has added another South West date to his farewell tour this summer.
He was already due to perform at Ashton Gate stadium in Bristol on 22 June 2022 but now he'll be there on 26 June as well.
It's all part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour and the new date will mark the final time Sir Elton will be seen on tour in Bristol and the South West.
Elton recently commented that “It’s the last time I will be touring and traveling the world… and I can’t wait to see you all one last time.
"I want to go out with a bang and say thank you and leave people thinking, ‘God I saw the last tour and it was fantastic’”.
Elton will conclude his world-famous tour at major stadiums which will kick off on 27 May, 2022 in Frankfurt.
The Final Tour will make stops in Europe in major cities such as Milan and Paris before shows in Norwich, Liverpool, Sunderland, London, Swansea and Watford as well as Bristol, next June and July.
Elton will then travel across the pond to take his final bow in North America, playing in major cities including Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago and more.
The North American run will kick off at in Philadelphia on 15 July, 2022 before concluding with back-to-back performances at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on 19 and 20 November, 2022.
In 2023 he will travel to Australia and New Zealand before returning to Europe.
Tickets will go on public sale this Thursday (2 December, 2021), but American Express® Card members will get exclusive presale access beginning Tuesday, 30 November at 10am until Thursday, 2 December at 9am.
