79-year-old man rescued after falling down embankment at Seatown
He was found laying in a stream
A 79-year-old man's been rescued after falling 9 meters down an embankment at Seatown.
Firefighters from Bridport, Weymouth and Colyton were called out last night.
They found him laying in a stream
A spokesperson for Bridport Fire Station said:
"Crews used working at height gear and a 9 metre ladder to access the casualty and provide initial casualty care for a shoulder injury and suspected hypothermia.
" Once the casualty was rescued they were passed on to the ambulance service for onwards care."
