Driver rescued from car roof after flash flooding in West Dorset
Campers were also helped from tents and caravans
Heavy rain caused flash flooding in West Dorset last night.
Crews from Beaminster Fire Station were called to a person stranded on the roof of their car which was stuck in flood water.
They also went to the aid of people in tents and caravans at a nearby campsite that had been flooded.
Shortly after, firefighters from Beaminster were then sent to flooding outside a property in Clapton.
Crews cleared drains and pumped water to help divert the water away from the property.
