Driver taken to hospital after crash near Beaminster
The accident happened on the A3066 at Mapperton this morning
A man has been taken to hospital after an accident near Beaminster this morning.
Police were called about a single vehicle crash on the A3066 at Mapperton at 6.40am.
Fire fighters helped free the driver from his vehicle.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Officers attended, along with the fire and ambulance services and road closures were put in place.
"The fire service assisted with removing the male driver from the vehicle and he was taken to hospital.
"The vehicle was recovered and the road was reopened shortly after 9am."
