Driver charged after serious accident in North Dorset

A motorcyclist was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital

A 43-year-old man from Somerset has been charged with driving without due care and attention after a serious accident in North Dorset.

The collision involving a car and a motorbike happened in October last year, on Landshire Lane, near to the Gibbs Marsh Trading Estate in Stalbridge.

The motorcycle rider, a man in his 20's, was seriously injured and airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.

He has since left hospital.
