Dorset pubs offering free Christmas dinners to those alone this festive season
Two Hall & Woodhouse pubs will be providing a three course meal so no one has to be on their own
As we get closer to Christmas, one brewer is trying to do their bit so no one has to eat alone.
Hall & Woodhouse will be offering free three-course meals to locals in Weymouth and Wimborne who won't be spending the festive season with anyone.
The Smuggler's Inn and The Olive Branch have tables reserved on Christmas Day.
James Davies, General Manager at The Smuggler’s Inn, said:
“Giving back to the community is an integral and essential part of what makes the Hall & Woodhouse family so special. Christmas is a time of the year where people get together with loved ones to celebrate and reset. Unfortunately, for some, that’s more difficult and can cause a lot of grief and loneliness. We are honoured to provide that sense of togetherness and support during what can be a difficult time for many.
"Please do reach out to any of our participating pubs if you or someone you know might be lonely this Christmas.”
