Dorset firefighters urge us to learn how to use a defibrillator

Dorset firefighters are encouraging us to learn where to find out nearest defibrillator - and feel confident in using it.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue (DWFRS) is hosting public training sessions to teach us what to do in a medical emergency.

Station Manager and DWFRS District Commander Brady Morris said:

“With more and more defibrillators now installed in publicly available places, our aim is to give people the confidence to step in if they see someone collapse.

"These sessions have been extremely well received elsewhere, so we look forward to welcoming lots of people to gain this potentially life-saving awareness."
