Dorset children's hospice wins national award
Julia's House say they're 'thrilled' and 'proud'
There's cause to celebrate at Dorset's children's hospice - Julia's House - as they've won a national award.
They've been named Charity of the Year at the Great British Business Awards on Thursday night (7th April).
The charity say they were 'thrilled to win amongst so many other very worthy and brilliant charities from across the UK'.
Julia's House has been recognised for its 'responsive and dedicated work of our specialist nurses and carers, providing vital care for local families of seriously ill children throughout the pandemic'.
The charity receives only 5% of its funding for its services in Dorset from the Government, relying on public donations to cover the remaining 95% of the cost of its work.
