Frankie the Labrador rescued from cliff at Durdle Door

He was stranded on a patch of grass, 20 meters from the cliff edge

A dog's been rescued after getting stuck 20 meters down a cliff at Durdle Door.

Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team and Wyke Coastguard Rescue team managed to retrieve Frankie the Labrador who was stranded on a patch of grass near the cliff edge.

A spokesperson said:

"Working together a rope rescue was successfully carried out lowering a coastguard down the cliff and returning Frankie the Labrador back to the top.

"With Frankie none the worse for wear and more interested in eating the teams biscuits!"
