Distinctive stone slab used to break-in to Weymouth College

A distinctive stone slab has been used to break-in to Weymouth College.

Police have just released details of the incident which happened at around 8.1-am Saturday morning. (30 January)

A man entered the college grounds and used a stone slab to break a window panel before entering a building. It is not believed anything was taken.

Police Constable Will Harris, of Weymouth police, said:

"We are continuing to make enquiries into this burglary and we have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect. I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.

"I am also releasing an image of the distinctive stone slab that was used to break the window as it is not believed to have come from the college site and I am appealing to anyone who recognises it to get in touch."
