Digger stolen from property in Bridport

Officers have released an image in case we've seen it

A digger's been stolen from a property in Bridport, with police sharing an image of it.

The machinery was taken from Denhay Lane in the Broadoak area at some point between 5.00pm on Saturday (30th November) and 8.00am on Monday (2nd December).

It's a Kobelco model and we're asked to report any sightings of the digger locally.

PC Sebastian Haggett, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said:

“We are carrying out enquiries to locate the stolen digger. I am now issuing an image of the digger in the hope someone may have seen it for sale in unusual circumstances.

“If anyone has information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
