Digger chained to fence stolen from Bournemouth

Dorset Police have shared a picture of the kit, to help locate it

A digger, that was chained to a fence in Bournemouth, has been stolen.

The Takeuchi TB216 mini digger was taken from East Avenue at some point between 2.40 and 3.40am on Sunday 23rd July.

Dorset Police have now released details, along with a picture of the equipment, in the hope someone may be able to help locate it.

Police Community Support Investigator Rachael Buller, of Bournemouth police, said:

“We are carrying out enquiries to locate the stolen digger, including checking CCTV from the area.

“I am now issuing an image of the digger in the hope someone may have seen it for sale in unusual circumstances.

“If anyone has information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
