Sir David Attenborough spotted in Weymouth Harbour

There's been a celebrity in our midst in West Dorset today (Thursday 17th November).

Sir David Attenborough has been spotted in Weymouth Harbour.

A film crew was with him during the visit.

It's not clear what programme he was filming for.

But earlier in the summer it was announced that a new show called 'Wild Isles', a five part natural history series about the UK's wildlife.

Part of the series has been filmed in Dorset.

Sir David did stop to chat with people in the area, including the Weymouth Community Safety Patrol Officers:
