£2,500 of damage caused during Lyme Regis school burglary

There's now an appeal for witnesses

A school office and display has been damaged during a burglary in Lyme Regis - causing damage worth up to £2,500.

Three people are believed to have got into Woodroffe School in Uplyme Road in the early hours of last Thursday (7th July).

Dorset Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

PC Dan White, of West Dorset police, said:

“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of the school during the early hours of Thursday 7 July.

“I would also urge anyone with further information that might assist our investigation to please contact us.”
