Spate of criminal damage incidents reported in Poole

Two shops, four vehicles and a telephone box have been targeted

Shops, vehicles and a telephone box have all been targeted during a spate of vandalism in Poole.

Police have just released details about the attacks around Darbys Lane and Wimborne Road at around 2.45am (Wednesday 1st January).

A 32 year old local man has been arrested and released on bail.

There's an ongoing appeal from police for information about the incidents though.

Detective Constable Ryan Higgins, of BCP CID, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this matter and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already contacted police.

“I would also urge any businesses or residents in the vicinity who have CCTV systems to please review their footage from around the relevant time period to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”
