Cow on the line near Dorchester
The animal strayed onto railway tracks earlier
You've heard of leaves on the line slowing down trains, but what about a COW on the line?
That's what happened near Dorchester earlier today (Thursday 5th May).
The young animal ended up on the tracks between Maiden Newton and Dorchester West, with staff from Network Rail doing their best to mooo-ve it on.
The trespasser did mean that trains had to slow down past the area until it was made safe.
Great Western Railway's timetable is no longer showing any delays though.
