Four more Dorset schools have reported confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the last week.

The latest include Atlantic Academy on Portland and the Sir John Colfox School in Bridport.

Both schools have single cases and remain open.

The Woodroofe School in Lyme Regis and Pamphill CE First School in Wimborne have also reported single cases.

Public Health Dorset say case rates are starting to level off in line with the national picture.

In the Dorset Council area there've been a 111 confirmed cases in the last seven days.

There has also been a continued decrease in hospital admissions and deaths.

More than 370,000 doses of vaccines have now been administered across the county.

A statement on Public Health Dorset's website reads:

"Testing has increased across the country, with more people now having access to rapid lateral flow testing. These tests help us to identify and isolate asymptomatic cases and their contacts, breaking chains of transmission.

"Everyone over the age of 50 can now book their vaccination online via the national booking system or by calling 119."
