Suspected crack cocaine wraps seized in Weymouth

A number of wraps of Class A drugs have been seized by police in Weymouth town centre.

Officers carried out a stop and search on a 49-year-old man in King Street yesterday afternoon.

The discovered a small number of what was thought to be wraps of crack cocaine.

A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said:

"This afternoon, Officers from the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team stopped and searched a male on King Street, Weymouth.

"The 49 year-old local male was found in possession of a small number of suspected crack cocaine wraps. He has been reported for possession of Class A drugs.

"He has been reported for being in possession of Class A Drugs."
