There's a chance to help give Chickerell PRON: Chick-rull a bit of a spring clean today (Saturday 2nd March).
A community litter pick's been organised by the Town Council.
Anyone who wants to take part is asked to meet at the Willowbed Hall at 10.00am.
Equipment will be provided, but dress appropriately for the weather.
It's the latest effort to improve the community spirit and cleanliness in Chickerell - last month the shelter at the Willowbed playing field was repaired following a spate of vandalism.
There's also been a recent appeal to increase the number of local Community Speed Watch volunteers, to reduce speeding through the town.
