If you went to Chesil Rocks music festival at Langton Herring you've helped raise thousands of pounds for the Samaritans.

Festival organisers Tim and Hilary Warren have given £20,000 raised by the event to the Dorset Branch.

Tim and Hilary Warren said:

"This represents half of their annual budget and will enable them to focus less on fundraising and more on what they do best.

"Massive thanks to our sponsors and in particular to Riskstop Group Ltd Symonds & Sampson 3SC Scaffolding LTD Robert Mayo and our anonymous sponsor.

"Big thanks also to our multitude of volunteers and helpers - singling out Jon Lewis and Martin Pearson - whose dedication and commitment have been unparalleled."
