CCTV: Alcohol stolen from Shaftesbury supermarket

Over £260 worth of drink was taken from Tesco on Christy's Lane

More than £260 of alcohol's been stolen from a Shaftesbury supermarket, with a CCTV image now released.

The theft happened at Tesco on Christy's Lane at around 2.50pm on Wednesday 8th February, but the details have only just been given to us.

The stolen items set off the security alarm at the store, but the thief ran from the scene.

PC Jonathan Park, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this theft and I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please get in touch.”
