Police have issued a CCTV image of a suspect after a man was assaulted in Christchurch town centre.
At approximately 1.35am on Saturday 1 April the victim, a man aged in his 20s, was assaulted by an unknown man on Millhams Street and High Street.
The victim was hit with a glass bottle and sustained an injury to his nose.
Police Constable Samuel Burlton, of Christchurch police, said: “The victim required surgery following this incident and we are determined to identify the person responsible for causing the injuries.
“I am now issuing a CCTV image of the suspect and while I appreciate the image is not very clear, I am hoping someone may recognise the man from his general build and clothing.”
