Dorset Police have released a number of CCTV images of a man they'd like to speak to in connection with a theft at a supermarket on Portland.

A number of bottles of alcohol, worth more than £500, were put into a rucksack by a man at Tesco in Park Road, with no attempt made to pay for them.

This happened at around midday on Tuesday 18th January, but the images have only just been given to us.

Can you help to identify this man?

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said:

“We have been investigating this theft and have obtained a number of CCTV images of the suspect.

“I am now issuing the images in the hope that someone may recognise him. I would urge anyone with information as to this man’s identity to please contact us.”

If you can help with any information, you're asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, or by emailing 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting reference number 55220010682.
