CCTV images released following TV theft in Shaftesbury

Police would like to identify this woman, following the theft of a TV from Tesco in Shaftesbury

Officers investigating a theft at a supermarket in Shaftesbury are issuing images of a woman they would like to identify.

At around 4.35pm on Friday 26 November 2021 two women entered the Tesco store in Christy’s Lane and subsequently left without paying for a 40-inch Sharp Smart LED TV, valued at £329.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are making enquiries into this theft and have obtained CCTV images of a woman we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone with information as to her identity to please contact us.”
