CCTV images released after burglary at Weymouth hotel

Dorset Police are trying to trace two men

Dorset Police have issued CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary at a Weymouth hotel.

Dorset Police received a report relating to a burglary which is believed to have happened at around 10.30pm on Sunday 13 March at the Richmoor Hotel on The Esplanade. A till drawer containing cash and two sets of car keys were stolen.

Police Constable Charlie Andrews, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and have obtained CCTV images of two men we are keen to identify.

“I appreciate they are not the clearest images but their clothing is quite distinctive and I would urge anyone who recognises them to please contact us.

“It is believed the offenders may have left the scene in a blue or grey Volkswagen Beetle.

“I would urge anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward.”
