CCTV Appeal: Man fills shopping trolley with booze and leaves without paying
Nearly ÂŁ700 worth of alcohol was stolen from a supermarket in Dorset
Officers investigating the theft of alcohol from a shop in Wimborne are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect in a bid to identify him.
At around 11.15am on Friday 5 November 2021 a man entered Waitrose in Rowlands Hill and began to fill a shopping trolley with a selection of bottles of alcohol.
He then proceeded to leave the store without paying. The total cost of the alcohol stolen was ÂŁ669.
Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have now obtained a CCTV image of the male suspect.
“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please get in touch with Dorset Police.”
