Cars banned again from parts of Weymouth Town Centre
Restrictions on St Mary and St Thomas Street are back in place.
Don't be caught out of you are driving in Weymouth Town Centre.
Cars are now banned again along the bottom of St Thomas Street and St Mary Street.
The restrictions were temporarily lifted during the pandemic, to allow the town centre to operate smoothly.
The reinstated closure is aimed at keeping pedestrians safe.
A Spokesperson from the Town Council said:
"The existing Traffic Regulation Order restricts all vehicles entering both pedestrian zones between 10:30 and 17:30.
"Between 17:30 and 10:30 only taxis and goods vehicles undertaking deliveries/loading can enter the zones.
"Private vehicles cannot access either street (pedestrian zone) at any time."
