Car destroyed by fire in Puddletown
Firefighters from Dorchester were called to tackle a car fire yesterday afternoon
A car has been destroyed after catching fire in Puddletown.
Firefighters from Dorchester were called to the blaze just before 2.30pm yesterday afternoon. (6 October)
A spokesman for Dorchester Fire Station said:
"Upon arrival the car was fully engulfed in flames so crews got to work with 2 hose reel jets and a single breathing apparatus wearer.
"A stop message went in after the crew extinguished the fire. They then checked and made up all used equipment and left the scene at 3.18pm"
