Firefighters tackle car fire on Puddletown bypass

The road had to be closed

Part of the A35 Puddletown Bypass had to be closed after a car caught on fire.

Firefighters were called to the scene on Saturday (26 December).

The blaze was tackled by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.

It took around an hour to put the fire out.

The car was destroyed in the blaze.

There are no reports of anyone being injured.
