Car collides with Argos store near Sherborne

Police are treating it as an attempted burglary incident

A car's collided with a wall at an Argos store near Sherborne, with police treating the incident as an attempted burglary.

A light blue Seat Salsa crashed into the building at Babylon Hill just before 5.30am on Sunday (20th October).

The offenders didn't gain entry though, and fled the scene.

Dorset Police now want to hear from witnesses.

PC Jack White, of Dorset Police, said:

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with relevant information that might assist our investigation.

“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who was near the store and witnessed any suspicious activity at the time of the incident, as well as any motorists driving in the area of Babylon Hill who may have captured relevant footage on their dashcams.”
