Bournemouth is to get its own Ivy restaurant, opening by The Square this November.

The dining chain say The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie will 'bring its signature blend of high-quality food, exceptional service, and an all-day dining experience'.

It'll have space for just over 200 guests inside, and another 50 on their outside terrace.

The restaurant is also expected to create 120 jobs, in what will be the company's 43rd venue.

General Manager Barnaby Harris-Reid will run the venture, moving from The Ivy Chichester, with Head Chef Romuald Richomme.

Laura Mills, Managing Director of The Ivy Collection, said:

“We’re excited to bring The Ivy experience to the stunning seaside town of Bournemouth. With it’s close-knit community and iconic coastal location, it makes for the perfect spot for our next restaurant. The team can’t wait to open the doors ahead of the festive season and delight Bournemouth residents with our unrivalled Ivy service and exceptional, seasonal dishes.”
