A drug dealer from Bournemouth has been jailed for two and a half years, after admitted possession with intent to supply.

32 year old Dragos Serban was stopped by police in Poole in September last year.

A search of his Mercedes uncovered a yellow plastic egg containing 16 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, as well as over £400 in cash and two mobile phones.

Checks on those phones found detailed and bulk messages about drugs sales in Bournemouth.

PC Bill Newton, of Dorset Police, said: “Through our investigation, we were able to bring Serban before the courts to be held responsible for his actions.

“We would like to reassure the public that we will continue to relentlessly pursue those who supply and sell illegal drugs in our communities.

“We would urge the public to report any incidents of suspected drug dealing to us so we can take decisive and proportionate action.”
