Author: Sophie CridlandPublished 28th Dec 2021

If you haven't already, you can still book to have your Christmas tree collected and proceeds from the collection will go to Weldmar Hospice Care.

The charity's Christmas Treecycle project is back.

You can book in to have yours taken away in return for a suggested minimum donation of £10 per tree.

This year the Christmas Treecycle is supported by Trinity Street Christmas Trees.

When and where they are making collections:

Weymouth, Portland, and Beaminster – Saturday 8th January

Dorchester – Sunday 9th January

Blandford, Bridport, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, and Sherborne – Monday 10th January

These are the postcode areas we will be collecting from. Please do not book if you do not live in one of these areas!

DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4, DT5, DT6, DT8, DT9, DT10, DT11, SP7, SP8

Important things to remember:

  • Real Christmas trees only, no taller than 8ft, with all decorations removed
  • They could pick up your tree anytime between 8am and 7pm so have it ready to go!
  • Please take all the decorations off your tree and place it outside the front of your house (avoiding blocking any pavements or roads), and where it won’t be necessary for volunteers to need to open gates etc.
  • They cannot return to make a later collection if your tree is not ready for collection
  • You have until 12pm on Wednesday 5th January to make your booking

All you need to do to secure a collection is complete this form with all of your details and the donation.
