The body of a man has been found in a Dorset river.
The discovery was made in Wareham yesterday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Dorset Police received a report at 2.59pm on Monday 2 May that a body of a man had been found in the river in Wareham. Officers attended with the ambulance service, HM Coastguard and the RNLI.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s family has been informed. HM Coroner has also been notified."
