Blandford driver charged after motorcyclist suffers life-changing injuries

The crash happened near Melbury Abbas.

A 23-year-old man from Blandford's been charged with driving without due care and attention.

His van was involved in a collision with a motorcyclist in North Dorset.

The accident happened back in May and involved a grey Peugeot van and a white Ducati motorcycle on the C13 at Spread Eagle Hill near Melbury Abbas.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s from Westbury in Wiltshire, sustained life-changing injuries as a result of the collision.

Owen Ambrose, aged 23 and from the Blandford area is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates Court later this month.
