A number of people have been injured in a crash on the A31 at Bere Regis.

The collision between a grey Honda Civic and a black Range Rover happened at around 12.00pm on Sunday lunchtime (16th July) at the junction of Bere Road.

The Range Rover driver and a passenger from that vehicle were taken to hospital with injuries that aren't believed to be serious.

The occupants of the Honda were treated at the scene by the ambulance service for minor injuries.

There's now an investigation underway into what happened.

PC Simon Hatch, of the Roads Policing Team, said:

“I am carrying out enquiries to establish what happened and would ask any motorists who saw what happened to please come forward.

“I understand a dark-coloured transit-style vehicle was in the area at the time of the collision and I would ask the driver to please come forward as you may have important information to assist my investigation.

“Finally, I would urge anyone who was travelling on the A31 at the relevant time and has a dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check for any footage.”
